It's coming again!!!

The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life walk at Lamar Park on May 14th & 15th.  The Godwin Heights community has been a part of the event for the last 3 years and it has been fantastic.  We have a team again this year that will participate along with several other teams in the area. Mrs. Petro and Ms. Meyers will be present for the 24 hour event...with smiling faces! 

Raising $2,500 and having 100 team members will be our goal.  Our hope is to have walkers on the track at all times during the event.  As a walker, you can take donations to help us reach our goal of $2,500.  Any individual that raises $100 or more, receives a one of a kind Relay t-shirt.  We are also selling Luminaries for $10.00. Working together you can help raise money for this event.

We have a website for our team, and you can simply take 3-5 minutes and join online. Joining the team costs you no money and just indicates that you are behind this cause and event.

Click the link and it will take you to the Relay for Life website once there click join an existing team, then put in Godwin Heights Public Schools. It should pull us up and you can click on our name. Select to join as a participant and it will cost you nothing. Lets come together for this great cause and make this one fun event in May!!!!
